01  The Concept

A new category on the water

The HB1560 is neither a house bolted to a pontoon nor a yacht with berths squeezed between tanks. It is a genuinely new category — the HouseBoatYacht — created for owners and operators who want both.

From the houseboat it inherits everything that makes waterborne living comfortable: a full-size, single-level interior that is delivered move-in ready, with no staircase gymnastics and no compromises on headroom. From the yacht it takes its silhouette — a long, low, raked superstructure that reads as a modern motoryacht from any angle on the lake.

The entire superstructure is executed in marine aluminium and glass. This choice of materials is what allows the design to look and feel like a luxury superyacht while remaining far more affordable to build, ship and maintain. Full-height glazing runs along both sides of the main deck, so the water is never more than an arm's length away — from the kitchen, the dining table or the lounge sofa.

For resort and waterfront-tourism operators, the model works as flagship accommodation: photogenic enough to anchor a marketing campaign, and flexible enough to be re-sited as the season or the business demands.

02  Interior

Loft living, 360° panorama

More than 100 square metres of loft-style interior — all of it on one level, all of it facing the water.

The social heart of the HB1560 is an open-plan living area that combines an open kitchen, a lounge zone and a proper dining table for fine dining at home. There is no division between "inside" and "the view": the glass superstructure delivers a unique 360-degree panoramic view of the lake, so breakfast, dinner and everything in between happen against the water.

The model is configured with two bedrooms, keeping the sleeping quarters private and separated from the social core — a layout that works equally well for a family, for two couples sharing a charter week, or as premium resort accommodation.

A smart-home entertainment system is available as an option, integrating lighting, climate and media into a single control surface. Because the interior is fully prefabricated and commissioned in the factory, buyers receive a completed, tested living space — not a fit-out project.

  • Open kitchen & lounge — single-level loft plan, over 100 m²
  • 360° panoramic glazing — aluminium-and-glass superstructure on both sides
  • Two bedrooms — private sleeping quarters off the social core
  • Smart-home ready — optional entertainment & control system

03  The Rooftop

An 80 m² terrace above the waterline

The roof of the HB1560 is not machinery space — it is the largest room in the house.

The 80-square-metre roof terrace gives the model a second, open-air floor. A sun deck with lounges runs the length of the house, with dedicated space for an additional steering position, sunbeds, a dining table and a BBQ grill. At the centre of it all sits the model's signature feature: a 40° hot whirlpool, positioned so bathers keep the panoramic view.

The source text of the original product brief puts it plainly: this is a terrace that provides the opportunity to host events throughout the year. Sunset drinks for eight, a barbecue after a day on the water, or simply an afternoon in the whirlpool — the deck is designed as genuine entertainment space, not an access platform.

Over part of the terrace, a canopy carries the integrated solar system, shading the lounge zone below while turning sunlight into onboard electricity.

  • 80 m² of deck — lounges, sunbeds and dining under open sky
  • 40° hot whirlpool — with uninterrupted panoramic views
  • BBQ grill & dining table — built for year-round hosting
  • Second steering position — helm the yacht from the sun deck

04  Energy

Solar power as standard thinking

Sustainability in the HB1560 is not a brochure word — it is built into the roof.

The model carries a solar system integrated into its canopy, converting roof area that would otherwise idle into working generation. On a lakeside mooring with good sun exposure, that energy offsets daily onboard consumption, reduces dependence on shore power and generators, and keeps the boat's acoustic and environmental footprint low — a real operational advantage in eco-sensitive waters and quiet bays.

The material palette follows the same logic. Aluminium is durable, corrosion-resistant in marine service and fully recyclable; the glass superstructure floods the interior with daylight, cutting the need for artificial lighting during the day. Together they deliver a superstructure that keeps its appearance over years of service with straightforward maintenance.

For operators marketing to the cultural-tourism and eco-resort segment, the HB1560 photographs — and audits — as what it is: a low-impact waterfront property.
